Access Flashtxt using your phone's web browser

Flashtxt provides two ways for you to access your account: through this site as you are doing now; or you can also access most things through your mobile phone's Internet browsing capability. When you browse to the www.flashtxt.com.au website with your phone we automatically detect that you are using a mobile device and provide a slightly different set of functions with reduced wording and screen size.

Manage your Flashtxt account with SMS messages

You are able to use the following SMS based commands to manage your account. Simply send a text message (SMS) to 0429558114 with a single word command as follows:

• "name" - Send your first name to recover your account password.
• "Off" - Send the word "off" or "stop" if you wish to make your account Inactive and stop receiving messages.
• "On" - Send the word "on" or "go" to make your account Active again to begin receiving messages.

Note that you will not get a response message from Flashtxt on your mobile to the "Off" and "On" commands. Simply login to your account if you wish to check the current status.
